Below is a good format for creating topics on storms.

If the storm is affecting multiple regions, threads should be created in ALL of the different region forums the storm is affecting. So, if a storm will be affecting the MW and NE, there will be threads in the Midwest AND the Northeast forum.

Oh, and don't create topics on the long range GFS 10+ days out. You WILL be warned.
